POCSO Committee
Constitution of the Internal Complaint Committee of M.R. Citi Public School in terms of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act 2012 for the session 2021–22.

Objective: Create a secure physical and social environment, deter sexual harassment, and raise awareness through training and preventive action.
Disciplinary Committee
Introduction: To create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment necessary for effective learning and discipline.
Scope: Applies to all students (Nursery–XII) on school property or during school-related activities on and off campus.
Purpose: Establish and communicate the school’s disciplinary procedures and guidelines in accordance with the M.R. Citi Code of Conduct.
Discipline Flow Chart
- 1st Lapse — Verbal reprimand; note in class and student diary.
- 2nd Lapse — Form filled and signed by parents; record in class and diary.
- 3rd Lapse — Red Card warning letter issued.
- 4th Lapse — Second Red Card + 7-day suspension notice served.
- 5th Lapse — Persistent misbehaviour may lead to suspension or expulsion.

Anti-Bullying Committee
This policy ensures a bully-free environment at M.R. Citi Public School where all students feel safe from intimidation or harassment.
Definition:
Bullying is intentional aggressive behaviour involving an imbalance of power — verbal, written, physical or social acts targeting a person or property.
Aims:
- Provide a secure and happy environment free from threat or harassment.
- Increase awareness of bullying behaviour in the school community.
- Devise school-based measures to prevent and address bullying.
- Foster productive partnerships with parents and students to maintain a bully-free campus.
- Encourage staff to build attitudes and skills that support these goals.
Preventive Measures & Procedure
- Maintain proper records and take appropriate action.
- Inform parents of all students involved in bullying incidents.
- Conduct investigations and share feedback with concerned parties.
- Apply sanctions where necessary and involve school counsellors.
- Organize staff development workshops and awareness sessions on bullying prevention.
- Install complaint boxes and collect feedback from disciplinary in-charges for timely action.
