Counselling Services

At M.R. International School, our counselling programme nurtures socio-emotional growth, strengthens study habits, and builds confidence. Students can approach the counsellor directly or through their class teacher.

Sessions are confidential and solution-focused. Parents are engaged through meetings and workshops so that support continues at home.

Appointments can be booked via the class teacher or the school office.

Sessions are confidential; safety concerns may be escalated to guardians/school authorities.

Parents are encouraged to discuss concerns with the counsellor during PTMs.

For academic planning (IX–XII), book a slot with the counselling desk.

Students must arrive on time and carry their diary/ID for sessions.

Emergency cases will be attended to on priority.

Workshops are conducted periodically; participation is encouraged.

Referrals to external specialists are made when required.

In Case of Concern

Safeguarding & Safety

If a student is at risk of harm, the counsellor immediately informs parents/guardians and school authorities, and initiates the child protection protocol.

Follow-ups & Referrals

Progress is reviewed through follow-up sessions. When needed, referrals to external specialists (psychologist/psychiatrist) are coordinated with parents.
